Who we are
From a humble beginning, in 2009 in Boksburg, Degrotevyf Manufacturers cc originated and has since expanded its operations into fleet management, maintenance and rentals. In 2013 a name change was initiated in order to further grow the business and we now trade under the name
DG5 Holdings, with 4 subsidiaries namely:
- DG5 Manufacturers/ Tanker World
- DG5 Fleet Management Solutions
- DG5 Full Maintenance Solutions
- DG5 Rentals
With strategic suppliers and customers, DG5 Holdings has grown from one owner and two employees to an operation hosting 40 staff members with a large crew of RMI certified technicians, drivers and administrative personnel.
DG5 Manufacturers / Tanker world
DG5 Manufacturers is a specialist trailer and truck body builder with a broad range of products, from standard type load bodies to highly complexed vacuum tankers. We offer a one stop shop to the commercial vehicle industry where we can design and fit a multitude of accessories to the vehicles and load bodies.
Our service facility and head office is based in Kempton Park and boasts 8 service bays in a 950 square metre building, all our technicians are qualified and attend regular training courses to update their product knowledge. We boast a mobile fleet of maintenance vehicles operating across the country, delivering on-site service and repairs.
DG5 Manufacturers employs 3D design and mass distribution packages to craft the load bodies and ensure perfect fitment and weight distribution before manufacturing. We are using highly skilled staff and modern technology in our manufacturing process in order to ensure that we deliver a high standard product to our customers.
We are fully registered with the department of transport, NRCS and SAVABBA (South African Vehicle and Body Building Association, a division of the Retail Motor Industry) approved. We service all sectors of the commercial vehicle market including OEM’s, commercial dealer - and small business networks.
DG5 Fleet Management
DG5 Fleet Management Solutions is a specialist fleet maintenance and management company specializing in the repair and maintenance of heavy load vehicles and associated trailers, LDV’s and passenger vehicles.
We have also expanded into Vehicle rentals, full management rentals and are currently managing a large portfolio.
Being based in Bredell, Kempton Park has allowed us to serve the greater Gauteng area due the close proximity of all major roadways. We have customers all over Gauteng and have since expanded into the Northern Cape, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
Our service facility and head office is based in Kempton Park and boasts 8 service bays in a 950 square metre building. We boast a mobile fleet of maintenance vehicles operating cross country delivering on-site service and repairs.
Our management team is able to draw on experience totalling sixty years in the retail motor industry at all levels.
We are proud to be one of the few RMI approved service facilities. Being approved means that they have thoroughly inspected our facility to ensure that we are reputable and qualified organisation that will be able to service their members with care and expertise. We are also proud to be listed with all the major fleet maintenance companies such as Eqstra, Avis, ABSA, Standard Bank and Wesbank.
DG5 Full Maintenance Agreement
DG5 provides manufacturing and maintenance solutions for fleets of all sizes. We have recently contracted the maintenance of several large fleets, the volume of fleets is growing as we successfully enlarge our operations into this market place.
Based on the data collected during the last maintenance period of our current customers, we are in a position to offer a tailor-made package for each individual client, specifically created to maintain current fleets more effectively with a greater emphasis on up-time.
Once the Full Maintenance Agreement is in place, our call centre will update all service requirements to clients on a daily basis and also ensure that breakdowns are attended to timeously. We endeavour to carry out all service and repairs on site in effort to reduce possible down time
The following are included in the maintenance programme:
- Fully comprehensive service plan
- Maintenance of all chassis, cab and all auxiliary equipment
- Maintenance of the hydraulic equipment
- All vehicles carrying warranty status, will be repaired at an O.E.M facility
DG5 Rentals
As a result of our companies growing success in the specialist tanker building market place we have established a rental cperation to complement our sales and service divisions.
This will allow clients access to high quality tankers and load vehicles for hire. The rental vehicles will also be supported by our on-site service and repair operations.
